New Car New Accident

My first ever car, that too big Toyota Corolla (at least according to Indian Standards). I bought it with my own money obviously with loan almost paid now.

Yes, I bought this car of mine 4 months ago and was (am or was) very happy with it. Used to go to Jersey City every month in this car. And take this to office daily.

Last time when we went to Jersey City, we went to a Park for the party, and when we were leaving, I was in the parking lot, waiting for the other car which was pulling up from the other parking spot, suddenly another car perpendicularly came from the right hand side and BANGED into my car. Well, it was not a big dent that time. Only when I took it to the Appraiser, he estimated a whooping USD 1248.00 as the affected body part repair charges. And we were settling down for something that female told us, her boy friend is a mechanic and can do the stuff and all. We called 911 (yes the emergency number was from my phone), did a Police complaint (first ever stint with Cops in US). He was asking me something and suddenly Jiaji replied, he shouted at him and asked him to keep quite, and ask me again the same question. Well I was upset and not afraid, upset because of the car, the new car would not be counted now in the Excellent condition but in good condition as per KBB .

Well am still waiting for the Police report to reach me, and proceed further with the repairing job.

SAM XBoxed

So its summer time and it was holiday time for all the kids in the world, so as with my two sweet little nephews both of age 10. It has been aptly said; smart things come in small packs. These two kids will take you round the whole world and you wouldn’t even come to know.

Well, these two guys and they are mad about video games and same goes for there Mama too. So I bid for the Xbox on eBay, and then when we won that, I pestered that guy continuously for Priority Delivery. Well the game came on Thursday and these guys were to leave on Friday. No body would believe we played for almost a day that day and the part of next day.

Those guys left @ 11 that day. But since then, I have not stopped, and I play it everyday, and discover new tracks and new tricks and new hacks into the game...

Trading

Being in the US, the only thing I miss is trading in Indian Market. The market is such volatile in India and its so stable in US. NasDaq is not moving like BSE.

Not happening, but yes as a long term trader/investor I would not want atleast US market to move like BSE. If it does, then in no time, I will get my Login Account disabled. Well, I have not got any time to try my hands on this, but am defintely looking forward to this.

New Achievements

Its been lot of activity since my last blog. Lots of activities like, somebody started with a new venture, and somebody started a new innings in there life, both in my personal friends list and in the business list too.

Heard of Reliance Fresh. The new venture from Reliance. Just a replica from all the US grocery stores. Great goin Reliance, before Airtel-Walmart will come to Indian Subzi Market, Reliance would have swept the market.

Recently one of my friends started a new online venture called DealMaadi.com. Click here to find out what is DealMaadi. This a real cool stuff, where in a user can enter a online deal and then another user can vote for the same.

Another online website which I came across is SastaSauda. This again is a cool site which gives a listing for the free stuff too. Yes most of this is MIR or Mail-In-Rebate. So keep track of this and you'll find lots of tech gizmo here.

long time no see....

Man, I don’t believe I am writing this after so long...

Well I thought couple of times...I sat down n couple of times...and actually started writing none of the times.
